
• Made by blending portions of batch 1 & 2 of Whaler’s Cove Silver Rum and maturing for 2 years in 3’rd use oak barrels from Kings County Distillery in NYC and Young and Yonder Spirits in Healdsburg, CA. We then proof down to 45.5% ABV
• Kings County Distillery Barrels are 10 gal and the use is: Bourbon > Peated Bourbon > Gold Rum
- These barrels dominate the palate, with strong hits of oak and of vanilla to complement our Silver rum’s smoky palate.
• Young and Yonder barrels are 15 Gal and the use is: Petit Syrah > Bourbon Whiskey > Gold Rum
- These barrels add depth, with touches of licorice, plum, and chocolate, as well as notes of leather and pepper.
